Haver I made the right decision?

my daughter also the only one going to her grammar school from her class. She is nervous but pleased that as she is alone it gives her a new start without 'baggage'. Hope this might help. She is also nervous. But happy to be going.

As a teacher who has tutored a Year 7 form may I add to this debate?

In my experience the pupils that came in knowing no-one got on with making friends straight away - the ones that struggled were the pupils who came in with friends and then 'outgrew' them. Lots of falling out around Christmas time - by the end of Year 7 it was hard to remember who had been an 'only'.
