4+ Assessment
As well as having a DS who has just completed 11+ tests, we have a DD who is 3. For DS we didn't realise just how much preparation we should have done but with limited DIY and much stress we worked our way through with one hit, one maybe and one miss!
For DD, we don't want to go through this process again so have applied for St Helens, Haberdashers Girls and NLCS. She has assessments first two weeks of January. Any advice on the following topics would be really appreciated:
1. What will the assessment entail?
2. What are the experiences of parents with daughters at any of these?
3. Does everyone get to work through to 18 or is there a cull?
4. Is there a website that caters more specifically for these questions? (As this site is titled elevenplus)
We have visited each school and think St Helens offers great academics without too as much pressure as the others, but really don't know.

Re: 4+ Assessment
I don't know about those schools specifically but 4+ assessments at schools have generally been the children taking part in activities as a group. Not quite sure what they are looking for - one friend told me it was the most assertive kids (glad we opted to try that one) - not sure about others - maybe looking for behavioural problems / attention span
TBH the schools I knew who did 4+ assessment ultimately did no better than the totally non selective preps....

Thanks HermanMunster and ThingsbehindtheSun, really appreciate it.
If there are others with children in the school then I would be delighted to hear.
