Telegraph article:Can you pass the primary school maths test

According to the Telegraph today only one in 20 parents could get 10/10 on this primary maths test.

Saw this earlier and pleased to say I passed with flying colours. All correct and well within the time allowed. I didn't even use my calculator.

Should I be cruel and make DD do it later? :twisted:

I wonder how many children get 10/10 too!

Must give it to DD when she gets in. :lol:

P.S. Are calculators allowed?



Glad to say I too got 10/10.........can't believe only 1/20 adults get 100%! :D

Sadly, after being an adult basic maths tutor for 10 years, I can. I seem to remember when I was doing the training to be a volunteer maths tutor, we were told half the population didn't understand percentages.

phew...... though it did make me a little jumpy in case I didn't :oops: :oops: :lol: :lol:
