Paying for missed school meals

I guess this is the problem - the firm are probably still billing the school.

At DS2's primary the children order on the day (although we pay weekly) so we are credited a meal for the following week if they are off.
DD also pays with her thumb - brilliant system. Especially as I can see what she buys!
