Much joshing on Twitter about the Falklands... they have had their referendum and the cardinals have voted too.
He looks and sounds like a good chap and am glad he is from South America as there are so many roman catholics there. No doubt helps that he had Italian parents - he could clearly speak the lingo.

Not Francis I , and I have nothing to do with the Falklands , (other than an ex who escaped Falklands war by breaking his leg six months before...)
