PS3 games advice

My boys love Minecraft, FIFA and Plants V Zombies. Are there any other recommendations for games that can be played online against other players? They love shoot them up games and I am a mean mummy for not allowing any 18+ games, as ALL their friends play them!!!
So any suggestions for a game not more than 12+ please.

No you are not, it's such a shame but many play station games are 18, I don't buy them either.

Play station two had realms of affordable fun games, luckily we still have ours, one if their favourites is worms 3d, sadly it's not on ps3 or online though.

I have saved buying both fifa 15 and zombies v plants gw until Christmas though, planning on a peaceful Christmas holiday.

Found a sonic racing game today as they used to like mario cart on wii but we never seem to get wii out anymore. It was only £10 from Asda and reviews look ok, something I would play too!!

I looked at the Worms games.....they do look quite good.

Good news, I have been told worms battleground has been launched on ps4 but will be launched on ps3 eventually.
