Schools should join academy chains of 30 or more

Yeah, right

Sounds like a privatised LEA to me.

Maybe the LEAs should be spun off as arms length organisations, like housing departments were, then they could become academy chains!

Well I thought so anyway.

Maybe 11+ people don't really much care about what happens with other schools.

Maybe people are busy on Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings with their real lives....???

Don't make assumptions about people on this forum because they have not responded to something. Your follow up comment is plainly rude.

Yes, a bit shocked by your remark there because I was looking up some references to follow up your report with - it is something I feel very passionately about indeed.

IMHO schools should be under local authority control and there is a whole raft of reasons why this is not now being encouraged.
