Why Emails (forum threads) can be misunderstood.

Reading threads on this forum, my own personal reaction to some of them, seeing how others react led me to thinking about how very little of human communication is spoken. We need gesture and eye contact and much more. These are fascinating articles on the subject if anyone is interested.
