Benedict in Hamlet NT Live Broadcast Thurs 15th October 7pm
This is already completely sold out in all three screens of our local cinema so I had to book tickets in a slightly more Phillistine town nearby!
I am used to being with a very select crowd in these broadcasts, there were just twenty of us last week for Coriailanus (which was absolutely spellbinding if you ever get the chance to see it) so we nearly missed the chance to see Benedict. We saw the Maxine Peake version earlier this year.
I would recommend you book now if you are planning to see Hamlet next Thursday.
It seems a few more than the usual crew are going to be there! DG

Are you going to change your name from Daogroupie to Benedict or Cumberbatch groupie?
In the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years.

Re: Benedict in Hamlet NT Live Broadcast Thurs 15th October
As you might have noticed from my post I am a Shakespeare Groupie (or even a NT one) not a Benedict one.
We don't have a TV so I have never seen his Sherlock but I did see him as Alan Turing.
I am used to just turning up for the NT broadcasts as I am sure everyone else who goes is so it is a bit of a shock to hear it is sold out. Sold out three months ago they tell me! DG
