Ah, thank goodness Vera is back. Just right for Sunday evening and the ironing pile.

Just catching up with Vera at the moment .doodles wrote:Ah, thank goodness Vera is back. Just right for Sunday evening and the ironing pile.
Earlier today we watched the first episode of the Swedish - French Midnight Sun. Definitely not one for the squeamish, that one .

just watched central intelligence last night, certificate 12, one of the funniest movies in a long time. Enjoy. It has the Rock acting in it, one his more better performances.

Any fans of the Good Wife should cathc The Good Life - spin off that started with a bang on Thursday on More 4. We are hooked and delighted as The Good Wife was one programme we all sat down to watch together every week!

Episode 1 of Evelyn Waugh's Decline and Fall was hilarious.

Thank you for the tip. Do you need to watch the Good Wife to understand it?kenyancowgirl wrote:Any fans of the Good Wife should cathc The Good Life - spin off that started with a bang on Thursday on More 4. Re: What to watch ?
Nope...the first episode was sort of an introduction - obviously there were some references that if you hadn't seen the Good Wife you wouldn't get (like a photo of her with her old business partner who got shot in court and died) but it is designed to be understood by all. Most of the characters are new...it is on More 4 Catch up!

Thank you for the reminder - have just downloaded the first episode and set the rest to record .Stroller wrote:Episode 1 of Evelyn Waugh's Decline and Fall was hilarious.
