Inspirational / Motivational books

Post by roselyn »

Hello All

I am looking for some inspirational / motivational books for my DD (11 years old)

I found / heard books like power of positive thinking , 7 habits of highly effective people etc., are inspirational and interesting but I dont think it would be much interesting for a child...

Hence looking for books which would be more suitable for her age...
Any recommendations please?

Thank you.

What are you aiming to get her motivated to do?

To be honest I'm not one for these sorts of books for adults so that might be skewing my view but I wouldn't give such things to an 11 year old.
Maybe some biographies of positive role models she can relate to would be helpful?
Depending on her circumstances, young people who have overcome adversity?

Run for those hills yoyo! You can do it! Faster, faster, nothing can stop you...

Right behind you there. :)

That website looks good though. Roll on the depinkification of girls.
