Or, if you can't wait until then, I believe this is the full play: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GNCutxWbpIU" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Absolutely brilliant, and thanks for mentioning it, G55.

Sadly, I can't find the original "Play That Goes Wrong" anywhere, because I found that even more hilarious.

I loathe Dickens, so this has got to be an improvement on the original :lol:

Sorry Toadmum but I simply cannot allow that statement to stand unchallenged. I invite you over for fireside mince pies and mulled wine and I will show you - using lots of quotations and clear socio-textual reference - why and how Dickens is a marvel. :D. You will leave my presence inspired and reignited ( and yes there is an instance of spontaneous combustion in Bleak House!)

I have read them all by the way; many of them several times over. Hard Times, Bleak House, DC and GE the best IMO. I am a little less keen on some of the others for their sentimentalism (Little Nell etc) but otherwise I defend Dickens stridently.

DH Lawrence? now there's an author who I really cannot stand. But that's for another thread...... :lol:

The Play that Goes Wrong is blimmin marvellous - we saw it last Christmas and were falling about laughing. One of my old students was in it which made it extra special :)
