Transition to Secondary School

Approaching December, just wondering how DC have found their first term @ their new secondary school?

Settled in and really enjoying it, some really excellent grades, but tired......looking forward to a break!

DS has also settled in well and loves the school. He took our advise and joined lots of clubs (which seem to be dropping off one by one)! The journey is draining (30 mins on the 34 bus and 10 mins walk to the school gate) and by Friday he is definitely shattered. Last night it took 2 hours to get home as the North Circular was standstill and the buses kept terminating. He is enjoying the work but honestly not sure on his focus the last two weeks as all I hear about is which boy likes which girl! Hoping this dies down next term once the kids are all used to each other.

Overall great start.
