Best results for Conservatives since 1987 (Mrs. Thatcher's third win).

£Sterling rising; now about 3 cents higher vs. US$ within minutes of exit poll.

EU, Juncker, Barnier etc must now reconcile with Brexit and put no more road blocks.
Clearest verdict by British people.

Results are astonishing despite Conservatives losing some momentum on NHS scaremongering.

Exit Polls were almost correct.

And thanks God, political leaflets will stop coming in for some time. Lately, it was 2 a day from LibDem.

Graciousness in victory is more becoming than smugness.

I think Labour lost large as a result of two factors. First was their Remain stance, which was a major betrayal of their traditional electorate; and secondly the radical policies they adopted in some other areas.
Personally I found some of their more radical policies interesting and really rather attractive, but I suppose now we will never know. They have five years to reflect and change. I suspect they will be back.
