I think Labour lost large as a result of two factors. First was their Remain stance, which was a major betrayal of their traditional electorate; and secondly the radical policies they adopted in some other areas.
Personally I found some of their more radical policies interesting and really rather attractive, but I suppose now we will never know. They have five years to reflect and change. I suspect they will be back.
