Oh, Mr Darcy, Mr Darcy!
This is perhaps the most interesting thread on the Forum for me since ... well, I dont know when.
I always assumed that the "Pride" was Elizabeth, maintaining her situation, whilst the "Prejudice" was the social attitude against her fanily?
I shall now go back and read it for the 29th time and take all your views into account and see where I come out on the original book, and the academic slant.
