Thankyou for your replies so far though if I put down two grammar schools on my list am I likely to get one of the grammar schools or one of the independent schools.

I'm confused. I thought you had to put your choice down before you sat the exam and passed. :?

Vetgal, you need to think this through with your parents/teacher. There are lots of different facts which need to be looked at - you need proper advice.
Maybe someone who knows which questions to ask you - with reference to the the area you live in, your pass mark, distance from schools etc - will be able to help.

Hi Tips

The system in Kent changed this year. The test results are now given out before the CAF is submitted, but the window between the two is very small - around a week I think.

Hi Vetgal

Congratulations! Great scores too!

I suggest that you look at the Kent part of the Forum to see if there is any information about the distance and other admission criteria for the school you hope to go to.

As you are under 18 I don't recommend that you post about schools directly though - it could identify you.
