A difficult discussion: any advice?

That is interesting as a friend of mine is receiving funding from the LEA to train in hypnotherapy. It is supposed to help, for example, those children that get stressed about exams and hence under-achieve significantly. Good to know it probably helped your daughter sp.
Maths was one of DS1's problem areas purely because his best friend was incredibly gifted in it and so is his younger brother. Hence although he is good at it he doesn't perceive it that way. Passing his 11+ has given him a boost though and one of his friends is very good at explaining the areas he has difficuly with.
