This is probably unusual but have a dc in year 7 who loves chemistry! She wants us to test her on the periodic table, formulae etc and wants a book on the subject. Have looked online but all books seem to be GCSE revision. Can anyone help?

Interactive periodic table games might be just the ticket. I enjoy quiz games on the Sporcle site. There are several Periodic Table games in the science category. Alternatively, you could try the Active Science GSK site which is aimed at this age group.

I hope this helps,

I should also have mentioned the periodic table of videos, one for each element, by Nottingham Uni.

If she is already keen on chemistry she will probably enjoy these.

best wishes,
