Have you got the levels from year 7 to compare against?
The most important thing is if he is making progress over time.

What were KS2 test levels and levels in the other subjects?

As KB says, it's whether progress is being made, not what the levels are.

Yes he needs big push in literacy but do u think so he is ok in other subjects. I will post the other subject results as well. Shall I start any tutoring for literacy or just buy the books and do work with him in home. What u suggest to me. But thanks for reply and ur advice.

Talk to the school at parents evening.

It's difficult to suggest anything without knowing how the levels were awarded e.g. one-off test, assessment of class work. The school is the best source of support and help.

If you don't have a parents' evening this term then I would email his English teacher and explain you are concerned and would like to discuss his progress and level with them. Hopefully they can arrange a time to call you and give you advice about how you can work with the school to support your son.
The school should be able to provide any extra support he needs so I would hold back on private tutoring until you have spoken to the school.
It might be that having some private tutoring over the summer holiday might turn out to be helpful to make sure he doesn't slip back.
Sometimes a school will know of staff who undertake private tutoring so they may be able to guide you with this if appropriate.
