I know in the last 12 months in my youngest dd's new grammar school in Wolverhampton they have had to let up to 10 mostly very experienced senior teachers go and reorganise the teaching with greater teaching responsibilities for the remaining teaching staff.The majority were done through voluntary redundancy. The impact of these changes on the school and its children remains to be seen.
