If she does get it wrong don’t panic, there is nothing like a minor reprimand (for most children, but admittedly not all) from a teacher to help them focus and take ownership! Learning from mistakes or omissions is all part of the learning process. Also if they have a locker a copy of the timetable with your colour coding on the inside of the locker door is helpful.

Yup - quite agree! She's always been forgetful, but really dislikes getting into trouble, so I'm fully expecting one telling off, and then never having to worry again - also fully expecting her to return a reply slip too late for a school trip once...but only once!
