MW Educational - volume 2 -paper three -test 3

Hi
Is anyone doing the MW Educational series for non verbal reasoning ?
We are getting stuck on the MW - volume 2 -papaer three -test 3 questions - all to do with cubes !
I know Tiffins and Nonsuch do not do cubes , but is there a gurantee ? Please can someone tell us a good principle to do these types of sums ? Iam happy to scan the particular test in question if someone does not have the book but can help.
