Can anyone please provide explanation for following question

Question: What is the shape or pattern from the right hand side which belongs to the set on the left hand side.

My answers is K but book answer is M. Please let me know whether I am wrong or book is wrong.

M has a vertical line of symmetry through the centre - as do A H and T, but Z, N, K and E don't.

The thing this question is testing is straightforward but the wording is peculiar. Why can't is just ask which letter from the right would belong the best on the left? Hope the real thing is not like that. If that wording made me hesitate I do not know what my young ten year old at the time would make of it, but she could certainly do the underlying question.
