Which one belongs to the left-hand side?
Could anyone help me with these two questions? Many thanks!
Re: Which one belongs to the left-hand side?
I think C for the first one.
The shapes inside the outer shape have 2 of one shape and one of the other ie 2 black triangles and one black triangle and 2 white squares and one white circle. In the others the shapes are mixed up ie you have three black items all different - one triangle, one circle and one square.
Hope that makes sense!

Thank you very much for your prompt reply, Bigbirdcw. Your answer is correct but I'm not sure about how you got there as all other choices have two black triangles, one black circle, two white squares and a white circle.

The white circle is the 'top' shape?

I got it wrong.I didn't look at other peoples responses till after. For the first question I chose a as on the left hand side in the first shape I saw three black shapes in the middle then two white (not the circle) then in the third shape I saw three black shapes in the middle as the first.I saw in the second shape two white shapes in the middle (not the circle)I then chose the answer with two white shapes in the middle(not the circle). Was my logic wrong ?

Having looked again the logic I applied does not work - must just have been blind luck!

Thank you for your idea, Guest55. I think your answer makes most sense so far. What do you think of the second question?Guest55 wrote:The white circle is the 'top' shape?

The answer sheet says C is the correct answer and I'm willing to take it since I haven't got a faintest idea unless someone proves differently.quasimodo wrote:I got it wrong.I didn't look at other peoples responses till after.

Wild guess, because I'm terrible at NVR: C.
4 sides, 5 sides, 4 sides ... 5 sides.
