I am aware from now reading previous posts that perhaps it wasn't the best idea to start with this one! There is one particular question section 5 q2 that we just don't get, and which nobody has (from what I can see) experienced problems with. I would be very grateful if somebody would be kind enough to shed some light on how the answer is reached for me.

Please ignore me I was looking at the wrong answers! I think the paper has been such a shock to the system that I am completely fuddled, now off for a bottle of wine!

I made the same mistake giving this horrible paper to my son to do first. It is by far the hardest paper in the pack, in fact, ever! Go on to the next one and don't loose heart!

Thank you. To be honest I am finding the whole 11+ thing a bit of a nightmare, and will be glad when he's done the test. It wasn't like this when I did it!
