Please can someone give me a better explanation that the one Bond have given?

In my pack of Bond NVR test4, section 3, question 10...

There are 5 shapes in the first box with a dark hexagon. The question is to find the shapes in the 3rd box in the series.

If that was the question you are referring to then this is the logic I see from it...

The shape with a dark fill disappears. While doing so its dark fill is tranferred to the shape that has no fill.

On the 4th box, the shape circle is with dark fill. So this must have been with no fill in the previous box. Also, the square shape is not there in the 4th box. So it must have been with the dark fill in the 3rd box.

With that, the answer is 'd'.

In my Bond pack there is no explanation about the answer. So I can't compare the above logic with Bond's.
