age standardised
This was posted some considerable time ago and seems definite that age plays no part in marks achieved. If so, this will be good news for some and bad news for others - either way, I think Tess holds the answers for most of us...!? (I must read that book!)sleepless wrote:Mike,
Essex 11+ for Chelmsford County High School for Girls, King Edward 6th Grammar School (Chelmsford boys), Southend High Schools for Girls/Boys,
Westcliff High Schools for Girls/Boys, Colchester County High School for Girls, Colchester Royal Grammar (boys) and the schools in Southend with a grammar school stream, will take place at the school above which the parents have chosen, on Saturday 26th November, am or pm according to school and surname.
Tests are:
English - 25% of marks (comprehension only)
Maths - 25% of marks
Verbal reasoning - 50% of marks
English and maths papers written by head of one of the grammars.
Verbal reasoning written by NFR but marked by Consortium markers.
No adjustment for age at all.
