Some people every year put one choice because they think then they have to be given it. Weird.
Even if I lived over the road and it was allocated on distance I think I might still put down a second choice. If the first school burnt down between now and allocation day I would know I could appeal and go on waiting lists faster for the lower choices than if I hadn't put them on my CAF.
