Big Brain Academy on the wii

Hello, saw this referred to on another thread. Does anyone recommend this for year 3 and upwards? What does it test? I'm reluctant to buy a DS or an Xbox (soooooo expensive) but we do have a Wii and I thought it might be a good alternative (ok, being very optimistic!) to Mario Cart!

i have big brain academy on DS and really like it. Should imagine it would be quite good on wii too, anything that gets the little grey cells working can;t be all that bad?!
