There was a one-off hearing of a Parliamentary Select Committee to scrutinise the Code back in November, and prior to that a full public consultation.

Some changes have been made in the light of all of that, so I don't think anyone is expecting that it won't go through.

Results
Reading School will post results of tests to parents on 23 October 2012.

The tests will take place at Reading
School on 1 October 2012. The LA will offer places on behalf of Reading School on 1 March 2013.

Deadline of receipt of applications
The deadline for receipt of applications to Reading School is 24 September 2012.

September 24th 2012 – deadline for receipt of Kendrick Application Form.
October 1ST 2012 - Kendrick School Entrance Test Day.
October 22nd 2012 – results of Kendrick School Entrance Tests sent to parents
October 31st 2012 – deadline for submitting application form to home LA
March 1st 2013 – home LA will offer places on behalf of Kendrick School.

It'll be interesting to see what Buckinghamshire announce.

This year the 1st test was the first week of October and when my DC took their test (nowY8) it was in September. So the tests in this area are taken quite early anyway!!!!

It will presumably be the OOC and late tests which have to change. Oh, yes, and thy will have to mark them quicker

Looks like Gloucestershire test date is Saturday 6th October 2012
Application to take test must be in by 28th September 2012
Results will be issued by 15th October
CAF needs to be completed by 31st October 2012

When they say results are these just raw results that mean very little to parents? Or will they mean something. I ask because offers in some places are still made in the following year...
