GL English Exams.

If a school says it sets a GL English paper, does the paper normally follow the format of the GL English practice papers Pack 1 and 2. i.e. Comprehension, Spelling Errors, Punctuation and Inserting Missing Word?

I am in Lincolnshire and we only do VR and NVR.

DS just sat 11+ in wilts, which uses GL papers. In terms of English, in Wilts GL set a long comprehension 22 marks, a short comprehension 18 marks, Spellings 7 marks and punctuation 7 marks. This is slightly different to the GL practice papers as there is much more focus on comprehension and less on Grammar etc. However, from the little I can prise out of DS, the comprehensions did have a lot of vocab type questions and identifying metaphores in sections of text
