We've finally received an unconditional offer from our preferred indie.
DS is over the moon, I am almost crying with relief and can't do any work today - too emotional.
To say it's been tough 1.5 years is a massive understatement. It has been h e l l . For a bilingual kid from a very average state primary, with borderline dyslexia, who started Y5 at levels 3a-3b this is a colossal achievement. We are so so proud of him.
We could not have done it without this Forum, without your support, advice and your previous experience. Thank you. Thank you for being there for us when we did not know where to start, how to tackle it, and how to cope with it emotionally.
To all those who're right now in the middle of the preparation - good luck, don't despair, and always believe in your DCs. They are amazing, and with the right effort and approach you can unlock so much potential you'd never dream of!
Thank you, and good luck.
