I think it was to some extent "tutor-proof by obscurity" in comparison to the "NFER 21 Types" test format. There is vastly more information on the test now than there was when our eldest took it (only a few years ago!), and it's become clear that not only are there some distinct types of question, there is actually a "question bank" from which questions are recycled between regions in successive years. It may not yet be quite as predictable in format as an NFER test but there's no doubt in my mind that a competent tutor ought to be able to make a substantial difference to a child's chances now.

Are these distinct question types within the CGP CEM books? How does one find these recyclable questions? (can you tell I'm neither competent, nor a tutor )
