******* Please don't delete ******

Dear Sally-Anne,

I am writing assuming that now you have reviewed the CEM Mock thread (as it is back in topic list). As you know, I have already flagged my concerns over lack of transparency in sonasona's way of working. The original rationale was quite simple - only parents will contribute and only parents who have contributed will receive the work. Good initiative but poor implementation.

There are two primary issues -
a) How come you are also working with sonasona? EPE also produces CEM paper. Obviously the parents would not like their material being used by any commercial organisation.
b) sonasona also mentioned that the papers will be shared with Kendrick which shouldn't be the case. Only the parents contributing should receive the output.
c) Parents are not receiving any feedback. The only message is "keep sending stuff, thanks".

I can execute the same with better communication and transparency but really not sure why you are blocking my initiative while keeping the other one on? We both are users with same privileges I guess.

My thread is

I have lot of appreciation for this forum and 100% sure that I'm not violating any forum rules. I am happy to hear if I have. My objective is same - help the parents using the EPE platform.

This will be my 1st and last posting on your thread parent2013

Firstly, why are you so agitated? Right from the beginning I've said we will collate material until end of April and will progress from there. It does not matter if we produce 1 paper or 100 papers it's got to be right. Not hurried through! The plan was always to produce papers in one go, not to develop them periodically. A lot of us are too busy for that and need to see our own DCs through the actual tests this year. Then once we had more time I'm sure we could develop more and more papers for the benefit of all for years to come.

Secondly why do you keep going on about sharing papers with Kendrick? Do you have any idea how selective that school is and how hard the girls work to get in to it? Do you really think Kendrick would want to see our papers when they've commissioned CEM to produce their papers. Did you not stop to think that us parents may well have children at Kendrick, the Abbey or Reading Boys already and that they had kindly accepted to test the papers for us???

I'm afraid it's the end of the line with the mock club for yourself. You have produced some material in about 3 weeks and have been hounding me all along whilst trying to cause disruption within the group. Consider yourself excluded from the club hereon. Your emails/private mails and content have been deleted.

I wish you all the very best with anything you chose to do on your own.

Sona

I am simply asking for clarifications as a contributor and can assure you that I'm not agitated :). I have always maintained that we all parents are working together and not in silos.

Let me recall "your" initial rationale - only the parents who contributed would get the papers output and no-one else.

Please correct me if I'm wrong but sharing with Kendrick (irrespective of how good that school is) or with other parents is not that we have signed up for. That's simply my point. You should explain professionally if any contributor ask for any such deviations from the rules initially agreed.

I am not surprised with the exclusion and didn't liked being kept in dark where you keep the remote control for all the communications. Please do not attempt to use any of my material and delete all communications.

Dear mod - Please don't take the above chit-chat as argument :) . I'll wait for you to activate my thread where I have proposed to open CEM Mock group with better transparency, sharing and communication.

Wishing you good luck.

sonasona has tapped into the goodwill and interest of a considerable number of parents who are home-tutoring their children.

EPE is (and always has been) the parents' champion, and we are anxious to support their collective efforts if we can.

If the materials they produce were to be used commercially by EPE in future, it would only be with the full consent of all concerned.

This discussion is now closed.
