School applications

Post by Awesomeanshi »

Hello,

Are there any schools in Bucks or Berks that have their own exams?

yes - several. You are better off posting in the Berkshire and Bucks regions to get useful answers. Catchment is critical in Berks - no point sitting an exam if you wouldn't get in anyway.

Bucks GS have one exam which is taken in September of Year 6 - schools have catchments based on distance from the school.

I heard about one academy school in Slough which has it's separate exam, I will find out the name of the school from my colleague whose daughter appeared for that exams.
