I have to confess to buying a lovely flowery rucksack based entirely on it kitson good looks, it's shoulder straps failed first, then the zip broke, all within six months.

Admittedly, this one is a bit 'girly' (although I have seen at least one boy with one and from a fairly 'tough' local school at that :lol: ). The 'Mars' version is possibly meant more for boys.

Other suppliers are available, as they say; DD's just happened to come from this one.
My dd has that exact rucksack this year! (But £10 from T K Maxx :wink: ) Her Lands End one fell apart after a year of very heavy use but seemed good whilst she had it. I hope this one will last us a year too. I've given up hoping for more than that.
