Re: Best bag for school
My dd has that exact rucksack this year! (But £10 from T K Maxx ) Her Lands End one fell apart after a year of very heavy use but seemed good whilst she had it. I hope this one will last us a year too. I've given up hoping for more than that.ToadMum wrote:https://www.sciencemuseumshop.co.uk/hom ... ckpack.htmsouthbucks3 wrote:kenyancowgirl wrote:If they are anything like the Hype tee-shirts, then you may as well set light to some £10 notes...over-priced, cheap fabric, nasty rubbish! (DS2 spent his own money - against our advice - and wished he hadn't!) I managed to bite down the "I told you so" that was bubbling up!
Go on admit it......you boil washed and tumbled it.
I have to confess to buying a lovely flowery rucksack based entirely on it kitson good looks, it's shoulder straps failed first, then the zip broke, all within six months.
Why does hard wearing and practical always have to be so dull?
Admittedly, this one is a bit 'girly' (although I have seen at least one boy with one and from a fairly 'tough' local school at that ). The 'Mars' version is possibly meant more for boys.
Other suppliers are available, as they say; DD's just happened to come from this one.
