CGP papers - Are they hard?

Hi all,
Are CGP papers harder than the real tests or are the other papers easier ?

My daughter ALWAYS scores lower in CGP papers compared to others. she will be doing Kent,newstead and surrey tests (SET)

I thought so when I looked at them. There were enough official mock tests for our purposes so we didn't bother with the other publishers papers for that reason.

Which subjects' CGP papers have you done, and which other providers are you comparing to.

For maths and English, my son found CGP easier than Bond or GL - and GL was the test provider.

All 4 subjects. She finds CGP hardest of all.

She took 60 mins doing a 72 question CGP NVR paper today. (Accuracy is very good - over 90%). She does bond 10min tests in half the time!

I wouldn't compare a full paper to a 10 min test.

DS always ranked difficulty as: CGP, Letts, Bond, GL, FPTP - with FPTP being the most difficult. But this was only for maths and English.

I have no experience (yet) of NVR, but a friend's daughter preparing for Bucks has complained of CGP practice papers having the most convoluted logic.

GL is the test provider so be happy that your daughter finds those easier.
