The normal players are in the list in the main, albeit some have gone up slightly and others fallen slightly. Thank you for sharing.

Stroud High (and a few others) topping HBS  . Must be some kind of rounding error, surely?

The comments section has certainly started to bring them out of the woodwork - with the exception of the top one, who presumably doesn't realise what the 'etiquette' of commenting on newspaper articles is  .

I'd be very grateful if someone could post a list of the 100 best grammar schools, as I don't have a telegraph account.

Thank you

There are only 163 in total, so a list of the top 100 would be the majority of them!

What purpose would that serve? The top 100 schools aren't all grammar schools so surely you'd want your child in a good school irrespective of what type it is?

I think sookipixeldust maybe just wanted to see the list but wrongly assumed the top 100 would be GS (or maybe a typo)? I too would like to see the list - when does it become available on free websites (I have searched but no "hits" yet).

That would make better sense.

And yes the full list would be interesting.

I just wanted to see where my eldest son's grammar school came (if at all!).
