11 Plus Exams Forum

I currently live abroad but intend to return to the UK in the next few years.
I have been away for 20 yrs and am not familiar with the school system anymore.
Can you please advise when my son would take the 11 plus tests.
His D.O.B is 4th July 2012.....he is currently in Grade 2 (US system) and I need to know if his exit from primary school here would coincide with taking the 11 plus.
Yes, I'm thinking ahead, but after being away for so long it is a daunting process and planning is necessary

My DD is 2012 and is in year 2 now.

I believe Sept 2022 is when she would do 11+ when she's just started in year 6.

Off the top of my head - I think they would move to Secondary 2023 with a test taking place in 2022. Ask again when DC is about 8!
