My dd had complained on Thursday evening that she had a sore tummy. I thought it was nerves before her test today and so did not follow up with the Doctors yesterday. When I picked her up from the test at lunchtime today she was feeling very uncomfortable so took her straight to urgent care. Diagnosed a UTI and put on antibiotics. Feel awful that I put this done to nerves but glad she’s now on the mend. Should I make the school aware?

It wouldn’t hurt to just explain to them what you have said to usxand ask them just to make a note of it.
If you have reason to go to appeal you can produce mounds and mounds of academic evidence (without which, you don’t have a hope) and give a nod to this extenuating circumstance as a possible reason for why she did not perform as expected on the day.
