Dartford Grammar travel from east London
Morning All,
Sorry to start a new thread; but I am not getting any response from other threads. Will really appreciate if anyone’s DC travels to Dartford Grammar schools (or Wilmington Grammar) from Essex side of the dartford bridge. (Chafford Hundred; Pitsea; Rainham; Barking)
There was a coach from Chafford that has been cancelled and I am really struggling with my DC commute.
Any help or guidance is greatly appreciated.
Thank you so much

Pitsea??
Sorry, but why on earth would anyone send their DC from Pitsea over into Kent, when there are the Westcliff and Southend grammar schools available?

Have you considered moving house?

That’s the long term solution. Need something in the short term urgently

I think I might be appealing for a local school come March - no GS is worth that commute

Thanks ToadMum; I have already evaluated this route. I know there are other children with similar issues and am hoping we can use cab pool

Hi, is your child currently at Dartford and the problem has happened because a coach has been cancelled? If so, might be better making some enquiries via school sources rather than on here? Or are you confident that they're going to get in when places are allocated in March?
