Haven't got a clue with the first one, but the answer to the second one is "gaggle" as they are all collective nouns (a gaggle of geese, a flock of birds, a herd of cows, a pack of wolves, a pride of lions)

question one: take first number add 10 then divide by 3, so the answer is 7

question two: I think it is gaggle and they are all names for groups of animals.

Blimey Guest 55 - I'd never have thought of that! I'm glad you posted the answer, I was started to get very frustrated that I couldn't work it out!

One way is to write them in order if you are trying to find a rule:

(5,5)

(8,6)

(11,?)

(20,10)

You can see a jump of three in the first value gives an increase of 1 - so I tried the three times table,
