Information for parents – outcome of entry tests
2.92 Grammar schools and other schools, or their admission authorities, which are permitted to use selection by ability or aptitude, should ensure that parents are informed of the outcome of entry tests before they make their applications for other schools.
I take it that the "should" means it's not compulsory for the Grammar/LEA to provide results before returning applications. Can anybody confirm that is a correct assumption?

Correct - it is indeed a "should" and not a "must". In Bucks the 11+ results come out after the deadline for return of the CAF form.

Thanks.

My LEA has not yet published 09/10 admissions scheme and I was hoping they might note the point. However it looks like the exam is after the deadline to return the CAF.
