Nfer Standardised Scores
Can anyone tell me where I can get information on the Standardisation scale used by Nfer?

Standardised scores
Calamus,
Thanks for plugging the link to Athey Educational Publishing.
In actual fact you will also find a short section on Standardised Scores on this website too under the heading of TIPS on the left hand side main menu bar.
Furthermore since Mrs. C is looking for Nfer Nelson's Standardised Score methodology you will see in the USEFUL LINKS section there is direct link to their own explanation - which is a little too technical!

I understand how the standardised scores work and that they are individual for each entrance exam - but why don't NFER publish the standardised scores to go with their practice papers. Can anyone give me an idea of what sort of mark children should be aiming for on the non verbal and verbal reasoning tests?
Try this link
NFER are the authors of the majority of 11+ test. Try the below link as it should help explain.

Non of this helps much.
I find advice that a score of 124 (about top 6%) will get a child into just about any school, but that helps me little in determining how well my daughter is doing.
What percentage of correct answers does that equate to for Nfer Nelson Verbal and Non-Verbal tests (Multiple choice), as published?
Please, please I, am desperate.
