CAF responsibility

I submitted my son's CAF form on 31 October with my local authority. My estranged husband subsequently moved to Bexley and has taken the day to day responsibility for our son and therefore we are endeavouring to have his school admission form transferred to Bexley as the school where my son wants to attend is in the Bexley.

The problem is that there is conflicting information from the two authorities. The authority to whom the application was submitted are saying that they will have to withdraw the application since the child has moved but Bexley are saying that they cannot do this but that the originating authority must release the application to them. Yet this seems to be causing a problem and the original authority seem to be either unable or unwilling to do this.

Has anyone encountered a similar problem where they have moved from one authority to another?

Any advice would be appreciated.
