Interesting - last years pass was 217 and top 180 score was 252.

Good luck everyone (I cant believe its been a whole year since we were in the same position!)

The selective threshold has been set at 214, and top 180 is 249

cheers and all the best !

Vaani2003 Is this the threshold for this years 11+? If so, how have you found this out?

Interesting, thanks.

I bet they've set the threshold so high to allow for the Head's to put through people they consider selective, who've just missed.
They would have to have some places spare to enable this to happen in my opinion...

We all know the Bexley was tough this year, there will be a lot of surprises. We personally are not expecting much from tomorrow's results but still fingers crossed, may be DD's guesses were on the spot :)

Maybe :)

It's strange though. I would have predicted the pass mark to drop a bit more. If in Birmingham their highest passmark was 72% last year, I thought Bexley would drop to 72-75% But this was my prediction and I'm a rubbish gambler ;)

I suspect the council know what they are doing ... (cynical laughter)

Our children can only do their best and we will be proud no matter what! But the not knowing is hard.

Very true and logical, the cutoff dropped only by 2 marks (strange), given the exam was a mess. Doesn't matter now, all the best and will see.
Bexley is not the last one we have Kent and Nwood :)

I am slowly have a meltdown-these last few days are the worst.
Why oh why could they not email the results???

Meanwhile DC is very laid back at the moment as they have not even mentioned it-don't know whether that a good or bad sign?

Oh well only 1 more day to go.

Where did you get that bit about last year's highest mark was 72%?
The highest SD score was 285 and assuming it was a July/August born child -as KenR did if I remember rightly - than you would say the highest raw mark would have been around 80-82% but I could be wrong.

If we now know the threshold for a pass, does anyone know how many children were deemed selective? I wonder if it was more or less than last year. I know Bexley always deem far more selective than there are grammar places for as so many children also sit the tests in other areas and don't apply for Bexley grammar schools if they pass their home authority test.
