Hi, did anyone got a place in Chis and Sid from Orpington area this area? Does someone know how far Chis and Sid went this year? Thank s a lot

DD year 9 has a fair few friends from Orpington for what it is worth.

Just over 4 miles I think.
Lots of ds friends got in near us and our school is about 4 miles from C&S

Thanks Salsa. My friend lives near Orpington station, her DD did not get in...So, I was just wondering how far Chis and sid went this is. I was reading posts from previous years and understood that sometimes it goes as as 6 miles

True about the 6 miles, but that was measured via the other method. It is now direct line which it probably works out the same or similar distance.

Hi
I know this doesn't really help, but my ds says that in his year 7 class, there are four children who came from Perry Hall, which I believe is in Orpington.
Last year, my son got in during the second round and we were 5.88 miles away (by road), the equivalent direct distance is 4.21 miles. Just to give you a comparison.

Does anyone know anyone who got in from further than the 4 miles, direct line?
