passed but not in top 180
Hi
We got 243 - but missed top 180
We are 5.2 miles from Chis and Sid
What are the chances of getting in?
I have been told that once you passed it is now based on distance.
I am so disappointed of not getting in top 180 as I have to stress regarding the dsiatnce

My guess is that you will be fine. I know a lot of DC who are at C&S and live further away. You never know if the catchment changes dramatically but based on the last few years you should be fine.
Did you look at your distance "as the crow flies" or by public road. I'm pretty sure that distance for C&S is now in straight line. This could make a difference for some people.

Have a look on page 13 of the Bexley admissions booklet http://www.bexley.gov.uk/CHttpHandler.ashx?id=1901&p=0. There is a table that gives the offer distances for the past 5 years for the Bexley Grammar schools. Chis and Sid went to 5.99 miles straight line distance last year - so you should be ok...

It is a good score and I think you can make it.
