What is the format of 12+ Exam ?
Hello All
My dd is soon going to appear for 12+ exam in bexley council. I wanted to know about the format of the exam ? The questions, are they similar to the 11+ ? Similar sections verbal, non verbal, reasoning ?
Do they also ask the question from Yr 7 ?
Thanks very much

Re: What is the format of 12+ Exam ?
I don’t know anyone who has sat the 12+ since the system changed to CEM so can’t help, sorry… I seem to remember reading somewhere on the Bexley council website that the test is not the same one as sat by year 6. i/e 11+
I think your best bet would be to get in touch with admissions at Bexley council to be honest.

Same here I'm afraid. I do know someone who took it and is now in year 11, and it consisted of maths and english papers - it wasn't like the 11+. But it may have changed since the 11+ changed.

Jit,
It seems you had already started a similar tread not so long ago;
http://www.elevenplusexams.co.uk/forum/ ... 51&t=42100" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Some really good advice was given. Did you contact your child's current school or Bexley council about a possible transfer? It may help someone in a similar situation!
Thanks
